Charles Elbert represents private and public sector employers in labor relations and employment matters, labor arbitration and litigation before federal, state and local agencies and courts including, without limitation, defending employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, FLSA, FMLA and other employee and administrative agency claims; internal investigations; drafting and litigating employment contracts and covenants not to compete/solicit; federal, state and local agency investigations and audits; NLRB proceedings; collective bargaining; drafting employment policies and agreements; and, claim and union avoidance counseling.

Mr. Elbert’s litigation experience in federal and state courts and in arbitration also includes contract interpretation and breach, shareholder/partner/member disputes, real estate, probate, and toxic tort. 

Mr. Elbert also has considerable general corporate and real estate experience involving negotiating and drafting of business, employment and real estate contracts; acquisition and sale of closely held companies; drafting and review of loan documents.
